The Sentinel AV Starter Bundle — fast, musical DSP that works sample-by-sample

I built these three because I wanted processors that feel immediate: algorithms that act at the speed of the sample, shape tone and space with precision, and barely tickle the CPU. No hidden look-ahead, no spectral smearing—just tight, deterministic math you can trust in a real mix.

What’s inside

• Symmetry — a reversible saturation engine. Colour a signal, then invert it when you need to null or do the “make-anything-non-linear” trick (Symmetry ➜ your plugin ➜ Symmetry reversed). Harmonics on tap, control that stays musical.
• Waveform — continuous stereo image rotation. Aim energy exactly where you want it in the field, stabilize imaging without narrowing, and create motion that reads as “mix craft,” not gimmick.
• Sidewave — sidechain-driven harmonic grafting. Borrow the character of one source and imprint it onto another.

Core principles

• Single-sample processing — time-domain operators that react instantly and predictably.
• No added latency — no look-ahead stages; what you play is what you hear.
• Low CPU, high leverage — minimal math per sample, designed to scale across big sessions.
• Phase-aware by design — tools that change tone/space without wrecking the relationship between them.
• Parallel-friendly — clean gain staging and mix controls so you can push hard and blend safely.

If you’ve ever wanted analogue-style payoff without heavy oversampling or “mystery sauce,” this is the toolkit. It’s three focused processors that solve real mix problems—harmonics with an undo button, stereo placement that actually obeys the physics of your signal, and sidechain character transfer that feels like cheating in the best way—while keeping your session snappy and responsive.

Good first moves

• Put Symmetry before and after a favorite EQ or compressor to make that tool react with harmonics—then A/B by inverting the second Symmetry. This is referred to as the 'Symmetry Sandwich'.
• Use Waveform to lock overheads or wide synths so the center snaps in place without collapsing width.
• Feed Sidewave a gritty bass as the sidechain and imprint that edge onto a clean drum bus for immediate impact.
